What affects the finish.
Can only the damaged spot be painted?
Sometimes a small localized repair may be appropriate. Other repairs require refinishing a larger portion of the panel or blending into an adjacent panel to produce a consistent appearance. The correct approach depends on the color, finish, damage, and panel location.
Can you match metallic or pearl paint?
Modern refinishing uses vehicle color information, formulas, spray-out evaluation, and technician judgment. Metallic and pearl finishes can require additional blending and application steps.
Will photos show whether a panel needs replacement?
Photos can show obvious damage, but panel edges, mounting areas, internal reinforcement, previous repairs, and metal condition may require an in-person inspection before repair versus replacement is decided.
Is a photo estimate the final repair price?
No. It is preliminary and may change after inspection, disassembly, measurement, or discovery of hidden and previously repaired damage.
